Access to cost containment network
We provide medical consultancy and claims oversight to the assistance companies and ensure that access to a cost containment network is fully controlled from the beginning for all inpatient and outpatient claims. We also take responsibility for all medical repatriations ensuring they are conducted in the most cost-effective manner, according to the medical needs of the patient.
Active management of large losses
All large losses are actively managed by experienced professionals, preventing costs from quickly escalating out of control and helping to avoid any negative publicity issues. Underwriters are given prompt notification along with an estimated reserve cost and are kept fully informed as cases progress.
Provider payments are guaranteed and paid locally through our cost containment agents with Healix managing a claims float on behalf of the insurer and providing consolidated claims reporting.
